- Precision CNC machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum housings are lightweight yet offer maximum strength.
- Our Billet distributors ship with Ignitor II modules factory installed.
- Each billet distributor is hand polished and buffed to a high luster.
- Tempered distributor shaft has low torsion displacement for accurate timing and extended operational life.
- Upper ball bearing and extra long oil impregnated bronze lower bushing work together to reduce friction and provide shaft and advance mechanism stability reducing high RPM vibration.
Plug n' Play billet distributors are designed for maximum ignition performance at a price you can afford. Our distributors ship with Ignitor II technology modules. Replace your outdated points, electronic distributor or bulky HEIs with this performance proven system. Simply install the distributor in the engine, connect two wires and start it up! For even more performance, consider adding one of our compatible Flame-Thrower II coils for increased spark energy and higher RPM potential. The lineup includes the Flame-Thrower II canister style coils as well as our HC and HV E-core style coils. FEATURES • Integrated Ignitor II electronic ignition with variable dwell maintains peak energy throughout the entire RPM range, reducing misfires while improving engine performance. • Develops on average 4 times more available energy between 3000 and 5000 RPM, and 2 times more available plug voltage. • Peak current level is reached just prior to spark for maximum energy without the heat build-up, increasing coil and module life. • Adjusts spark timing at higher RPMs to compensate for the inherent electronic delay. • Senses startup and develops more energy for quicker, easier starting. • Built in reverse polarity and over current protection shuts down the system, preventing component damage. • Cobalt magnets and Hall Effect trigger for stable timing and precise spark distribution. • Compensates for inherent electronic delay by adjusting the spark timing throughout the entire RPM range. • Synchronized peak current and spark timing reduces heat build-up. • Compatible with most Capacitive Discharge Systems. • Warranty: 30 months electronics / Limited 1year mechanical.

Emissions CodePerTronix Performance Ignition and Exhaust Brands use a voluntary product identification program whereby all emission sensitive products can be identified by placing numbered labels in product packaging and listing corresponding numeric codes next to each part number. The corresponding numbers and explanations are as follows:
This Product has been granted a California Air Resources Board (C.A.R.B.) Executive Order ("EO") Exemption, or is considered a Direct Replacement or Consolidated Replacement part. It is 50 State Legal when installed on the appropriate vehicle per the Manufacturer Application guide and Installation Instructions.
This product is Legal for use on 1974 and older non catalyst equipped vehicles and is considered a Replacement Part per California Air Resources Board regulations, as long as ALL emissions sensitive components are retained, including A.I.R., EGR, Heat Risers etc. Failure to retain any of these components, or use on any 1975 or newer catalytic converter equipped car would render this product Illegal for Street or Off Highway use in California, or in states that have adopted California Emissions regulations and may only be used for Closed Course Competition.
This product is Not legal for Street or Off Highway use in California or in states that have adopted California Emissions Regulations and is only intended for Closed Course Competition use, except 1965 and older US manufactured California Certified vehicles, 1967 or older US manufactured Federally Certified vehicles, or 1967 and older Foreign manufactured vehicles which may have any aftermarket add-on or modified part installed as long as the vehicle can still meet the tailpipe emissions standards for the year of the vehicle and retain any original or retrofit crankcase control (PCV) devices and NOx device required for the year of the vehicle.
