Race HEI units use all new components and feature an electronic module and coil combination that optimizes spark energy and peak current to the spark plug in the 6000 to 8500 RPM range. Compared to our street or strip version, race units produce 42 percent more energy with 46 percent faster spark breakdown time allowing 48 percent more peak current to reach the spark plug. This abundant energy doubles the spark intensity during the critical one millisecond of burn time. Great for both circle track and drag race applications where factory type HEI distributors are mandated. Our ignition and exhaust products ship from our warehouse in Lenexa, KS. Our normal shipping time is 2-3 business days for in-stock parts.

Returns at Pertronix are accepted within 90 days of purchase with prior authorization, ensuring items are in new, resalable condition. To initiate a return, call for an RGA and follow provided instructions. Customers are responsible for return shipping, using a trackable method.

Refunds exclude initial shipping and handling fees and may be subject to a restocking fee. For defective or damaged items, contact Pertronix directly. We are not responsible for user-initiated damage/loss of parts.

PerTronix, LLC warrants to the original Purchaser that its products shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period, as specified above, from the day of purchase. This warranty covers the replacement/repair of the product only and does not cover the cost of removal and installation.

Should a part become defective it should be returned to the original selling retailer and must be accompanied with the sales receipt.
If there is no retailer in your area, call the factory for a return authorization and return your part prepaid to the factory for inspection. The manufacturer reserves the right to replace or repair the alleged defective part and return the part freight collect.
